Sold by the dozen and baked the day they’re picked up. Good for bake sales, team snacks, teacher gifts, or a Tuesday that needs improving. Decorated sets available on request.

Buttercup’s Baking Society is a home bakery serving families in Decatur and about twenty miles around it. Everything is made in small batches, to order, for a specific person and a specific day — which is the whole point.
That means we can say yes to the odd requests: the flavour nobody else stocks, the colour that has to match the invitation, the pie that has to taste like the one your grandmother made.

How far ahead should I order?
Earlier is always safer, especially for weekends and holidays. Get in touch as soon as you have a date and we’ll tell you straight away whether it’s doable.
What area do you serve?
Decatur and roughly twenty miles around it. If you’re on the edge of that, ask anyway — it’s usually workable.
What will my order cost?
Most orders land between $10 and $30. Size, decoration and flavour move the number, and anything larger or more detailed gets a written quote before we begin — no surprises at pickup.
Can you do custom flavours, colours or decorations?
Usually, yes — it’s the advantage of baking one order at a time. Send a photo or describe what you’re picturing and we’ll tell you honestly what’s realistic for the date and budget.
Can you handle allergies or dietary requests?
Please ask before ordering so we can give you an accurate answer for your specific situation.
How do I pay?
Payment is arranged directly with the bakery when your order is confirmed. There’s nothing to pay through this website.
